KEY BELLEVILLES STOCK METRIC SIZES MANUFACTURED TO DIN SPECS

Reduced Material Thickness on Disc Springs with Turned Contact Surfaces.
Springs with a thickness of 6mm and over are machined all over and are given lathe-turned contact surfaces at the inner and outer support edges. The contact surfaces have a width of about De/150. These contact surfaces cause an increase in spring load which has to be compensated by reducing the thickness t to t1.

Note:
Only when stacking spring layers in parallel does a reduced height have to be taken into consideration. The height lo of the single disc remains unaltered.
